How to connect to Wi-Fi network from Command Prompt

1. Open Start.
2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result, and select the Run as administrator option.
3. Type the following command to view the available network profiles and press Enter: netsh wlan show profile.
4. Confirm the wireless profile.

At the command prompt, type netsh wlan show wlanreport. This will generate a wireless network report that’s saved as an HTML file, which you can open in your favorite web browser. The report shows all the Wi-Fi events from the last three days and groups them by Wi-Fi connection sessions.

In the Settings app on your Windows device, select Network & Internet > Status > Network and Sharing Center. In Network and Sharing Center, next to Connections, select your Wi-Fi network name.
